Registry Fix Software Product Review
I chose Registry Fix because on first impressions, it seems to tick all the right boxes in terms of technical specs, support and overall great word of mouth and personal recommendation online.
So in this review…
You will discover whether Registry fix is actually worth your money and whether it performs as well as their website claims to.
Plus, I’ll also check the performance, the customer support and ultimately form our own opinion on this software…
…so that even if it doesn’t prove it be worth your time and money, you’ll save both by knowing to look for a better solution.

What Does It Do Exactly?
Every Microsoft Windows operating system has a registry. Your system registry holds a wealth of information about your computer, which is why we constantly hear from users that after using their PC for a short length of time, it no longer works the way it used to.
This is due in part to invalid entries that exist in your system registry, that might exist because of software you are no longer using or software that was not properly removed.
By removing these invalid entries, you can significantly increase the performance of your PC.
Just like it’s counter parts and competition, registry fix software scans your PC based on the level of deep scan you set it at prior to running the scan.
First time scanners may want to take advantage of the full deep system scan which not only scans your hard drive, but all folders on your PC that you use for storage…as many of these folders can become redundant and corrupt over time.
Once the scan in complete, you’ll get at list of detailed errors found. This feature doesn’t always come included for many registry repair programs which we soon discovered with some of the other trial versions we tested out in our review.
The registry fix program does however list all the details of where your operating system and computer overall has issues.
Then, it’s simply a case of running the auto repair function to clean up the errors.
These errors could be corrupt files that are no longer needed, right through to major missing components which need to be relocated and moved to keep your PC “thinking” with a clear head, to put it simply.
Once the repair process is complete, you should notice a visible increase in your PC’s performance, namely the speed in which programs load and close, including the windows start up and shut down process in some cases.
Plus, any warning errors or crashes that used to plague your PC will now be wiped clean and your computer will run like it has just come out of the box.
The only time your computer may still run slowly is if the memory is nearly at full capacity. Check your memory capacity from time to time to check that you have at least 20-30% memory free on your hard drive.
This will further allow your PC to “think fast” (processing speed), alongside “thinking straight” (running without errors).
What Did You Think?
The software is so easy to download and start using. You can opt for a trial version where you can download the software for free and then run a scan to see where the errors are on your PC.
Some folks may think this would be a great opportunity to attempt to mend these errors manually, but here’s a word of warning: It’s very complicated and to be honest, very time consuming.
The corrupt files could be hidden miles deep into your PC, and with no clues where to look. Even if you do manage to find them, fixing them is another ball game altogether.
If you do decide to “go it alone”, make sure you do what all good registry cleaners should do…perform a system backup before you start! Registry fix software does this for you automatically, before you start.
This is so in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, you haven’t just lost your computer’s contents.
Finally, the software interface is extremely user friendly and clearly aimed at a broader audience than technical whiz kids. This is pretty much as easy to use as sending and receiving email.
Does It Work?
The Registry Fix software found several hundred errors on my PC. There were all sorts of things, corrupt files being one of the biggest causes.
I was told that the errors were on my PC due to all sorts of causes, such as downloading lots of software, right through to changes made in applications (settings, display modifications etc)…all causes information to be lumped onto my registry over time.
Because the registry stores all the info for settings, changes in audio levels, display options and so on, you can imagine why so many errors might occur over time.
To be honest, I don’t know the exact REASON why they occur, but just like driving a car for too many miles will cause engine problems over the years, the same principle applies to your PC’s registry.
Who Is This Product Right For?
Quite simply, anyone who has issues with their Windows PC displaying errors, crashing or generally running painfully slow. There are many signs of a corrupt registry for you to look out for, so here’s a list of some common warning signs that Windows might bark at you:

…and remember, these are just the visible errors that Windows warns you about.
There could be others which do not present themselves as such, but will often cause problems with your machine in the background (such as a slower performance, start up and shut down issues etc)
The Cons…
One thing I was a little disappointed with is that there is no scheduler feature which allows you to manually schedule when the software will scan your PC.
This wasn’t enough to sway my vote however, as in reality the registry repair process does not need to be a military operation, with precise schedules.
Because Registry Fix is so effective at repairing the registry, then providing you run Registry Fix once per week, you will never again experience problems with a problematic registry (and all the errors that a problematic registry brings).
There is no online FAQ or knowledge base available for Registry Fix at this time, but in the unlikely even that you experience problems, you’ll find that the support people are very responsive.
The Pros…
After I ran the trial scan, Registry Fix found a shocking amount of corrupt files, many more than I imagined or have even heard about before.
I then used the full download version to fix the registry and as I hoped, Registry Fix successfully fixed all errors, leaving my old machine running much more smoothly and no DLL errors or invalid file warnings to be seen.
What I particularly liked about Registry Fix was the level of control you have over the entire cleanup process. This is accomplished by a series of task managers, all with individual roles.
For example, there is a “Full Registry Backup Manager” which is undoubtedly the most vital part of the software, which acts as a safety net so that if something goes wrong during the registry repair process, you will always have the most recent and fully functioning version of the registry.
I also thought the “System Startup Manager” was a useful tool, which allows you to set the software to scan any programs that have been set to automatically start when you first turn on your PC.
This alone allowed me to clean up and speed up the entire booting process that previously took over 10 minutes with my machine.
A common cause of registry problems is when old, redundant files are left piled up inside the registry itself from programs you have installed in the past, but since removed. Registry Fix has an easy feature to remove the files via their “Add/Remove Files Manager” function.
One key criteria I looked at when doing registry repair reviews is the convenience factor. In other words, are the registry cleaners designed for busy people who don’t want to (or are not interested in) manually housekeeping their PC’s registrys.
One of the strongest convenience features with Registry Fix is that you can easily set it to run at the exact moment that your PC starts, which is great if you’ve forgotten to run it the previous day for example.
Then there’s the scanning log - which is a feature not commonly found in other similar priced competitors. This is a great feature which logs your scans so that you know what previous errors are recurring, and what exactly the software is doing for it’s money.
This can also be helpful in the event that your PC needs professional, human intervention…as they can see common faults and what might have been previously missed in the repair process.
Along with the clean and user friendly interface and the added bonus feature of a registry optimizer (to help further boost your PC’s performance), this particular software stands out above its’ counterparts in this fierce market place of registry repair software.
Finally , should you need support, Registry Fix offers full email customer service as well as a help file within the application itself.
I did a test support email (pretending to have a problem) and a member of support responded via email within 24 hours, which is more than I can say for some Registry Fix’s competitors in the marketplace.
Overall Thoughts
Clearly, Registry Fix has a lot going for it…
…particularly when compared to the competition.
Whilst it may be a little basic for advanced tech whizzes, for the average Windows PC user how wants a clean, user friendly tool to help their PC run at full speed without crashes and error messages, then you don’t really need to look any further than registry fix.
With great support, easy to understand interface and a highly effective repair program on deck, this will do everything you would hope for in a registry repair tool.
For the price, you can’t argue with the features either…boasting a deep scan far more hard working than the other major players, and optimization tools to help your PC run like new, this well supported software deserves a free trial…
…and if you DO find registry errors, I’d certainly recommend purchasing the full version to have
them repaired within minutes using registry fix.
Great job, highly recommended!
